Camping Tauberromantik
You will find the camping site "Tauberromantik" with comfortable outfit near by Rothenburg in Detwang at the lovely Tauber-valley. This is a modern camping site for campingcars, caravans and tents. Furnished bedrooms, apartments for 2-4 persons self-service-shop, bistro are available.
We do recommend to make a reservation, by filling out the request form, sending an e-mail or by calling us. Reservations from one night, pitch number request can only be taken into consideration from three night stays or longer.
Check in from 2pm, in case you are arriving after 6pm, you must notify us.

We, the siblings, Michaela and Martin Friedle, took over the Tauberromantik campsite from our father Johann (deceased in 2019) in 2020. Since then, we have been bringing the campsite up to a modern standard. Since then, we have been bringing the campsite up to a modern standard. In 2020, we fixed the pitches on row E with lawn grids, demarcated them with hedges and installed new electricity water columns. In 2021 the sanitary building was renovated (from ventilation to pipes, new tiles, toilets, sinks, partitions) In 2022 we installed a grease trap for the restaurant, some pitches were planted with hedges for demarcation and parcelling. In 2023, a new shelf wall was added to the shop, and some of the parking spaces were equipped with new electricity columns to bill the electricity according to consumption. A new slide for the playground was also added. At the moment we are waiting for the order e-charging stations for electric cars. For the autumn we are planning to fix a few pitches with grass paving stones and a few more pitches every further year. The renewal of the disposal station is also planned for the future.
